Who Am I?

I’m Sara!

I grew up in Florida, acting in plays, singing in church choirs, and performing with traveling entertainment groups. I sought the stage in every capacity. When I was 16, I sang the National Anthem for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, wrote my own one-woman show to perform at local venues and recorded my own album of cover songs to help “cover my college tuition” (I made a whopping $200 which definitely helped offset university prices).

After high school, I continued my education studying Musical Theatre and Acting at The Boston Conservatory and Emerson College but while I was there, I discovered my musical tastes were more Britney Spears and Queen than Rodgers and Hammerstein. I moved to LA to pursue my new-found dreams, and ended up landing a job at a major recording studio. I got my first back up vocal gig while working at the front desk, singing a small part for Colbie Caillat . I was also lucky enough to sing on tracks for John Easdale, Marc Broussard, Louise Goffin and a few others.

Tailored Tunes was inspired by my Mom’s uncanny ability to change the lyrics to existing songs, transforming them into memorable originals about her family and friends. So I decided to take it one step further and write tracks from scratch in the same spirit. Carefully crafted customs to reflect the personality and essence of the recipient.

There’s no better gift than showing someone how much you truly know them.
